Valencia street has been changing and its sidewalk is wider and cleaner! Many interesting stores and shops, good restaurants near by the gallery. You should check out the neighbor if you haven't recently!

For the August show, Chiyo is showing her San Francisco map series including her new paintings. 
Please come to the gallery and find out Chiyo's world and also enjoy variety of pieces from the local artists!

Art show at The Borderlands Books and the Cafe in July

Chiyo and some of the members from the City Art Gallery are showing their arts at the Borderlands Books and the Cafe in July. The bookstore is located near the City Art Gallery in Mission.
Chiyo brings one of her paintings to the Cafe. (Those arts are in the cafe next door to the bookstore. They have good coffee with comfortable sofas.)
Please check out if you have a chance to come to the neighbor.

Chiyo's Solo Art Show at Kinokuniya Bookstore in San Francisco.

"San Francisco Village" series is Chiyo's version whimsical SF map with native flowers, wild animals, and MUNI F line. 

This show has ended on Feb.7th.

Please check out frequently for her latest activities. (May's show is coming up!)

Also Chiyo has a new email address, chiyo at chiyoart dot com (at = @, dot = .). 

(If you know her personal email address like hotmail.co.jp or gmail.com those are still active, fyi.)

Kinokuniya Bookstores - Bookmark and Paper bags

One of Chiyo's paintings is featured in the bookmark design of the Kinokuniya Bookstores. Also she designed the artwork for their paper bags too. Please visit one of the Kinokuniya bookstores in the States and buy books and get her arts!
